This guide covers the best practices for those of you who are managing brands with many locations. We recommend that you select one internal contact person with admin rights in Soundtrack Business that all locations can turn to if needed.
Prepare a list of your locations
Compile a list of all places where you plan on using Soundtrack Business. The list should include address, postal code and city. It might be a good idea to add a time plan so it’s easy to keep track of when each location should be up and running.
Set everything up in Soundtrack Business
Follow this Getting started guide to set everything up. A pro tip is to name your locations with an internal reference, so it’s easy to find your zones.
Inform your colleagues
We recommend that you choose one person in each location that’s responsible for on-site installation and suggest you send out the following information:
1. A short introduction to Soundtrack Business and contact details to our support team.
2. Information about your music; such as what it will sound like, who’s planning it and where the staff can give feedback.
3. Instructions on how to get started with Soundtrack Business on your device, find a link to each setup and user guide below. Depending on which device you're using, remember to also include the code or username and password.
iOS player – Include the pairing code.
Windows player – Include the pairing code.
Soundtrack player – We recommend that you connect the players in Soundtrack Business before sending them out. This way, you can plug the player in and play once the streaming boxes arrive at the location.
You're ready to go
Make sure all zones are online in Soundtrack Business.
